True pearl lovers know how important is to restring your pearls every now and then. Depending on how often you wear your pearls, they should be restrung on average every 2-3 years. This will help prevent breakage from weakened or worn string. If you wear your beautiful pearls on a daily basis, it is not unusual to need restringing every year. At Crown Jewelers our professional Master Jeweler can extend the life of your precious pearls. We use both silk and nylon cord for pearls restringing but we always recommend use a braided nylon for strength and durability and typically last much longer. Most of our restringing jobs done same day or next day.
