Frequent Asked Questions
How do I become a client?
By contacting the Garden center you will be directed to our marketing department who will assist you with the admission process and answer any questions you may have regarding your participation in our program. A Garden marketer specialist will assist you in completing our admission application and will arrange for a visit so you can tour our center and ask further questions.
Who is eligible for the program?
Our participants must have Medicaid and receive prior authorization from the New Jersey Department of Health to attend the center. Our program is available to elderly people and adults of all ages who reside in the community and who are disabled and suffer from health problems, chronic illnesses, mental and physical disabilities or problems caused by the aging process.
What is prior authorization?
The New Jersey Department of Health requires that our clients meet certain criteria to attend any adult medical day care center. When you complete our application to the program, we will send a form with your medical information to the department of health. They will review your application, call you for an interview and will decide if you medically qualify for the program. Once they approve your application, our program can admit you as a client.

Our program is open from 9:00AM until 7:00PM. Mondays thru Fridays, and on certain Saturdays, Sundays and/or Holidays for special occasions or events. Our clients are required to spend a minimum of 5 hours at the program when they attend. They also can choose in between our morning or afternoon shifts.
